Who is Crafty Fantastic
Please allow me to introduce myself
Welcome to Crafty Fantastic! My name is Leann and I am the mother of 3 wild and creative boys and I am the founder of the Crafty Fantastic crafting club for kids. I have over 8 years experience hosting craft sessions with kids, including 2 years of volunteer work with a local youth organization.
I take pride in creating a happy and engaging environment where kids are free to explore their artistic and creative abilities! Crafty Fantastic promotes self-confidence in our crafters through fun, interactive S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) based crafts. Our craft group works together to support each other, brainstorm and create together. Our crafters have fun and before they know it, they've learned something new!
Our crafts are kid tested and fun approved!
Crafty Fantastic is currently outdoor based (due to COVID restrictions), but this is a welcomed adjustment as the fresh air, chirping birds and lush forest all add to the crafting adventure!
Other qualifications:
- CPR (level C) certified
- trained in IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) guidlines
- clear background check (including vulnerable sector)
- Insured

Crafty Fantastic is proud to participate in a S.T.E.A.M based approach to crafting. S.T.E.A.M stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths. S.T.E.A.M based crafting supports kids with their critical thinking and problem-solving skills using hands on creation. At Crafty Fantastic we support each other in collaboration to gather knowledge, create and problem solve. At Crafty Fantastic we follow the process of craft creation, review and revise as needed.... just like in the real world! Our crafters find confidence is the creative process and joy in the outcome!
